Robert Bergqvist

Robert Bergqvist is an experienced executive in the nuclear and energy sectors, currently serving as the Country Executive at Rolls-Royce SMR since March 2023, where responsibilities include leading the commercialization and deployment of Small Modular Reactor technology in Sweden. Previous roles include consultant work from August 2014 to February 2023, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at UpWind Solutions Inc., and Operations Support Services Director at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation. Bergqvist has also held significant positions at GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy International, GE Energy, and GE Nuclear Energy, contributing to various leadership, project management, and marketing initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Manager Development Course from Crotonville and a fellowship from the World Nuclear University, along with studies at Uppsala University.
