Roger Hayes

Roger Hayes currently serves as the Digital Manufacturing Manager at Rolls-Royce SMR, where responsibilities include defining the Digital Strategy for Manufacturing and leading a team of engineers to implement digital systems for nuclear pressure vessel production. Previously, Roger Hayes held various positions at Rolls-Royce from 2006 to 2022, including Digital Machining Lead and Digital Manufacturing Systems Engineer, with a focus on machine tool standardization and adaptive machining. Roger Hayes began a career in manufacturing at Park Precision as a CNC operator and setter. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Cranfield University and a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Derby.
