John Thompson

John Thompson has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as Production Lead at Rolls-Royce since October 2025. Prior to this role, John held positions at Parker Meggitt as Production Manager and Manufacturing Manager from September 2023 to October 2025. John's earlier experience includes Project Manager at IG Elements, where oversight of the LRTM mould project was a primary responsibility, as well as operational roles at TopHat and leadership positions at Bri-Stor Systems and Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK, where responsibilities included managing teams to ensure high-quality production and adherence to key performance indicators. John began a career in manufacturing as a Wood Machinist at John Carr while completing a City and Guilds qualification.
