Sam Carpenter is an experienced NDT Level 2 Technician with a career spanning from August 2005 to the present. Currently employed at Rolls-Royce since August 2016, Sam specializes in Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Eddy Current techniques, qualified to NAS410/EN4179. Recent projects include testing Trent 1000, 1000-10, and XWB Compressor drums at Rolls-Royce Annesley. Prior experience includes roles as an NDT Technician at Bromford Industries Limited and Intertek, as well as serving as an NDT Assessor at The Timken Company, where responsibilities included assessing seamless steel tubes using various inspection tools. Sam graduated from Bosworth College from 2000 to 2002.
