Bas de Bruijn

Bas de Bruijn is an experienced investment manager at ROM Utrecht Region since July 2020, focusing on supporting innovative businesses in the Utrecht province and the Gooi- en Vechtstreek. Prior to this role, Bas worked as a trainee in regional economics at Provincie Utrecht, exploring the need for a regional development agency. Bas has also gained experience as a junior project manager at the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, where responsibilities included organizing fact-finding trips for foreign investors and supporting activities in India. Additional roles include a junior project manager position at Invest Utrecht specializing in the agri-food sector, a junior business consultant at Geodan, and an internship in business marketing at amsterdam&partners. Bas holds a Master of Science in Economic Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Planning from Utrecht University.
