John Gaffney has extensive experience in ministry and education, currently serving as the Director of Evangelization and Mission and previously as the Director of the Department of Evangelization and Catechesis at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines since July 2010. Prior to this role, John served as the Director of Youth Ministry at St. Theresa Church from 2005 to 2010 and held the position of Director of Youth Ministry and Adult Faith Formation at Basilica of St. John Catholic Church from June 1999 to June 2005. Earlier in John's career, a role as a trainer at Marsh spanned from 1991 to 1999. John Gaffney is pursuing a Master of Ministry degree in Theology/Theological Studies from Creighton University, with previous education including a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Grand View University.
