Matthew Clarke, CMP, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Matthew has held leadership roles in various organizations, including the Roman Catholic Diocese of London where they served as the Director of Communications. In this role, they managed communication programs for the Diocese, covering nine counties in southwestern Ontario and supporting over 100 parishes and approximately 455,000 Catholic faithful. Matthew also has experience working in the corporate sector, serving as a Communication and HR Programs Specialist for Magna/Formet and a Communications Specialist for London Life/Great-West Lifeco Inc. Additionally, Matthew has experience in the healthcare industry, having held the position of Communications and Web Specialist for the South West Local Health Integration Network, where they led communication initiatives, media relations, and website content management. Early in their career, Matthew worked as a Marketing and Communications Manager for The Richard Ivey School of Business and as a Manager of Marketing and Communications for CIBC World Markets. Matthew Clarke, CMP received their Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from York University, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two additional certifications. In October 2017, they earned the Communication Management Professional (CMP) certification from IABC/GCCC. Two years later, in October 2019, Matthew obtained the Certified Agile Project Manager certification from the Project Management Association of Canada.
