Christina Mertens

Christina Mertens is a dedicated professional currently serving as a General Faith Formation and Parish Administration Assistant at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange since August 2023. With a robust background in management and customer service demonstrated through roles at Albertsons Companies, including General Manager and Cashier, Christina has also contributed significantly to youth development as a Guide for SOLE EFFECTS, where collaboration led to the creation of a workbook for high school freshmen. Experience as a Tutor for San Diego County and CSUSM enabled successful academic support for students facing personal challenges. Additionally, Christina's role as a Pedagogy Intern at California State University San Marcos showcased ability in developing coursework from a student’s perspective. Christina's educational background includes a degree in Psychological Science with a minor in Communication from California State University San Marcos, complemented by a high school diploma from Dana Hills High School.
