Nicolae Stoica

Nicolae Stoica is an accomplished professional in the civil aviation sector, currently serving as the Director General of the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority since January 2021. In this role, Nicolae leads the organization's activities, aiming to enhance safety and security within Romanian civil aviation while establishing its international reputation. Previously, Nicolae held the position of Aerodrome Operations Director at the National Company Bucharest Airports, managing operational aspects of Henri Coanda International Airport. Additional experience includes serving as Director General and President of the Governing Council at the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Authority, and working as a Senior Inspector at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. Nicolae's earlier roles include Flight Safety Officer at Jetran Air and Engineer at the Romanian Research & Development Institute for Gas Turbines.
