Radu Gorduza Lupu is an advisor at the Romanian-Canadian MBA and has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Radu has held various management positions at leading healthcare companies such as Medicover, Affidea, GE Healthcare, and Abbott Healthcare.

Radu Gorduza Lupu began their career as an area manager at Bayer in 1997. Radu then moved to Abbott Healthcare in 2000, where they served as country manager for 3 years. In 2003, they joined GE Healthcare as zone director for Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova. Radu held this position for 9 years before moving to Affidea in 2012, where they served as CEO for 7 years.

Under Radu's leadership, Affidea became the leading EU outpatient and cancer care private operator, present in 16 EU countries with 240 medical centers. Radu was also responsible for business development through Greenfields and 4 M&A processes, including full integration and business restructuring.

In 2019, Radu Gorduza Lupu joined Medicover as CEO. Radu successfully re-engineered the entire business leadership by aligning the activities to scope and isolating the losing P&Ls. Radu also successfully drove the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic, exceeding previous year's financial performance.

Radu Gorduza Lupu has a wealth of experience in both the medical and business fields. Radu has a Medical Doctor degree from Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iași, as well as a Master of Business Administration from HEC Montréal. Radu also has experience in leadership and marketing from their time at AmCham RO and GE Management Development Institute - Crotonville.
