Courtney S. Ries has over 15 years of experience in destination marketing and strategy. Courtney S. most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Destination Branding and Strategy at Meet Minneapolis, where they provided executive level guidance for the city's non-profit Destination Marketing Organization and Sports Commission. In this role, they overhauled the department and implemented new strategic direction, programs, and personnel.
Prior to that, Courtney was the Vice President of Marketing at Travel Portland, where they oversaw a $10 million annual marketing budget and led the development and implementation of marketing plans targeting various audiences. Courtney S. also served as the Director of Marketing at Travel Portland, where they planned, developed, and evaluated marketing efforts and led the organization's international consumer advertising campaign in Japan.
