Michael Xie

Michael Xie is a Data Scientist Software Engineer at Rome2rio since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Demonstrator at the University of Melbourne from March 2015 to February 2023. Additionally, they have experience as an Information Management Intern at Chinalco Rio Tinto Exploration in July 2013. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering with a focus on Fluid Dynamics, a Master of Engineering with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering, and a BSc in Mechanical Systems, all from the University of Melbourne. They completed their secondary education at the International School of Beijing from 2008 to 2012.
