Michael Rao, CPHDA

Michael Rao, CPHDA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael started their career in 1990 as a Senior Sales Representative at Tremco. From 1997 to 2010, they worked as an Emerging Business Manager at BASF Construction Chemicals, where they focused on coaching and developing leaders and managers. In 2011, they established Rao Business Coaching, where they offered services such as employee assessments and developmental programs. In 2014, they joined DS Benefits Group as a Principal and later became a Partner, providing organizational development and HR services to various companies. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at Romeo's Pizza Franchise, LLC.

Michael Rao, CPHDA, received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University from 1980 to 1984. Michael also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same institution. In addition to their educational background, Michael Rao has additional certifications in various areas such as the 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team from Everything DiSC: A Wiley Brand, ISEI Emotional Intelligence from the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence (ISEI), and Talent Optimization Certification from The Predictive Index.
