Mikel Parker is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking, particularly in healthcare. Currently serving as the Head of Investment Banking and Managing Director at AMB (Allen Mooney & Barnes) since December 2019, Mikel focuses on representing healthcare clients in M&A, capital raises, and transactions. Mikel holds a position on the Board of Trustees at Ron Clark Academy and has previously served as CFO of Provider Solutions, Life Sciences, and HIM at Ciox Health. Mikel's career includes roles such as Managing Director at Genesis Capital, Board Member at Healthcare Management Company, First Vice President at Shattuck Hammond Partners, and Vice President at GMAC Commercial Finance. Mikel began the career in investment banking as an analyst at Robertson Stephens and The Robinson-Humphrey Company. Mikel earned an MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University.

The Ron Clark Academy (RCA) is a highly-acclaimed, nonprofit middle school located in Southeast Atlanta. The Academy has received both national and international recognition for its success for creating a loving, dynamic learning environment that promotes academic excellence and fosters leadership. Our 4th – 8th grade students represent various socio-economic and academic backgrounds and communities from across the metro region.
