For over two decades, Ron Hansford has been creating iconic designs for magazines, TV, film, and global A-list events and clients. From unforgettable awards parties and galas to events celebrating milestones and other important moments, he has catered to an all-star list of clients that includes Rihanna, Naomi Campbell, Diana Ross, Big Sean, Nicole Miller, and many more.
In the arena of history makers, Nobel Peace Prize recipients, and dignitaries, he had the honor of creating flowers for a fundraising dinner for Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign and for a historic night of celebrations at The Africa-America Institute’s annual gala, which honored Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his esteemed guest of honor, the then recently released Nelson Mandela.
Ron’s work has been displayed in historic public spaces throughout his career, including United Nations events and public displays for The Pierre and Plaza Hotels. His work has also been featured on stage at Carnegie Hall for a one-night-only, star-studded benefit for Dramatic Need, The Children’s Monologues, where he created wings for Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya’s performance alongside Emmy-nominated comedian Trevor Noah, directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle.
Guided by his unique artistic alchemy style, Ron focused his creativity on transforming spaces and giving visual representation to concepts, creating a realm of wonders. Driven by the marriage of concept design and the mechanics of spatial construction, Ron Hansford’s fascination and enthusiasm for unique installation environments, flowers, and sculptures have led him to become one of NYC’s most prominent designers.
Ron’s work has appeared in Untitled Magazine, Zink Magazine, Prestige Magazine, Wedding Magazine, and Modern Bride.
