Ana Velasco

Ana Velasco is an experienced music industry professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as General Manager at Universal Production Music Spain and Portugal since April 2019, Velasco has been pivotal in directing production music and developing business strategies to maintain industry leadership. With a longstanding tenure at Universal Music Publishing since January 2008 as Production Music Manager, responsibilities have included managing relationships with key copyright organizations in Spain and Portugal while overseeing marketing and administrative functions. Prior roles include Production Music Manager at BMG Music Publishing from June 1998 to January 2008, where Velasco led a small team and developed the production music business, and a position as Secretary and Assistant to the General Director at BMG Music Publishing Spain from June 1993 to July 1998, focusing on various editorial functions.
