Janet Miner has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Janet began their career as a New Product Coordinator at Warner Bros. Music in 1985. Janet then worked at MCA Records, where they held various roles, including Manager of Copyright Administration and Associate Director of Scheduling and Product Administration. In 1996, they joined The Windham Hill Group - BMG Entertainment as a Director of Contract Administration and later became the Senior Director of Contract Administration. In 2000, they co-founded Rightspring.com and served as the Vice President of Licensing Administration. Janet then joined BMG Music Publishing in 2001 as the Senior Regional Director, where they played a crucial role in the regionalization strategy. Janet Miner founded Wacky Productions Unlimited in 1990 and served as the Founder, General Partner, and CEO. Currently, they are Vice President of Global Film & TV Administration at Universal Music Publishing Group, where they have held various roles since 2008, including Senior Director of Regional Copyright and Senior Director of Global Copyright.
Janet Miner attended Pomona College from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature.
