Rosario Agostaro has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Superintendent of Schools for Rondout Valley CSD since July 2009, overseeing a rural district with approximately 2,000 students in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Prior to this role, Rosario held the position of Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction at Newburgh Enlarged City School District from July 2007 to June 2010. Rosario began their career as a teacher for grades 7-12 and Earth Science at Washingtonville Central School District from September 1987 to June 1999. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Geology and Education from SUNY at New Paltz, a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Bucknell University, and an Associate of Arts in Physical Sciences from Union County College.
