Gary Chesson is an accomplished real estate professional and community leader with extensive experience in mentorship and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as an Executive in Residence at UNC Wood Center for Real Estate Studies, Chesson provides mentorship to MBA students. Over the years, active involvement in various organizations includes leadership roles as a Board Member for Roof Above, where a significant capital campaign was led to support the housing of chronically homeless individuals, and for Alexander Youth Network and Urban Ministry Center. Chesson co-founded Trinity Capital Advisors and Trinity Partners, focusing on value-added real estate development across several Southeastern states. Additionally, in 1988, Chesson founded the Charlotte Crew Club, the city's first rowing club. Chesson graduated with a BSBA in Business from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
