Kathy Izard is a seasoned leader and advocate with extensive experience in nonprofit management, community development, and women's leadership initiatives. Currently, Kathy serves as the Founder of Women | Faith & Story, facilitating workshops and retreats for women leaders. As a Board Member for Roof Above and an active member of the Close to Home Campaign at the Urban Ministry Center, Kathy contributes to increasing permanent supportive housing for the chronically homeless in Charlotte. Kathy's previous roles include Lead Instructor for the Nonprofit Essentials Course at Wake Forest University, Chair of the Advisory Board at HopeWay, and Director of the Homeless to Homes project at Urban Ministry Center. Kathy is also a published author and speaker, known for works such as "The Last Ordinary Hour" and "The Hundred Story Home." With a background in graphic design, including owning Izard Design, Kathy brings a creative perspective to community service and social change.
