Michael Gursha

Michael Gursha is a successful entrepreneur and investor who has held a variety of roles within the sports and media industry. In 2015, they were the inaugural Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In 2016, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Powerspike, a media and technology company. In 2017, they co-founded and became the CEO of Rookie Road, the leading destination for sports rules, gameplay, lingo, 101 info, and more. In 2021, they became an Advisor for SQWAD, a digital sponsorship activation company, and Hedge Pay, an API company. Michael also became a Member of the Board of Directors at Bettle and an Investor/LP for Story Ventures. In 2022, they became an Advisor for Asset, a DTC butt wellness brand, and an Investor for CROSSNET, the world's first four square volleyball game.

Michael Gursha has a diverse educational background. Michael holds three Bachelor's Degrees from Syracuse University, in Communications, Television, Radio, Film; Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises, and Management from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the Martin J. Whitman School of Management, respectively. Michael also participated in a study abroad program at Florence University of the Arts. Michael completed their high school education at Horace Greeley High School.
