Roman Wissner

Roman Wissner has extensive work experience in various management roles. Roman is currently the Senior Vice President of Operations at The TMRW Foundation, where they started in August 2021. Before that, they served as the Director of Operations at the same company from September 2020 to July 2021. Prior to their current role, Wissner was the Head of Live Services at Crytek from July 2015 to August 2020. Roman also held the position of Divisional Director of Central Services at platform X GmbH & Co. KG from April 2014 to June 2015. Wissner has worked at MY.GAMES as a Chief Operating Officer and Authorized Representative from January 2012 to March 2014, and as the Head of Operations from December 2009 to December 2011. Additionally, they worked at platform X GmbH & Co. KG as an Executive Project Assistant to the Management Board from September 2008 to November 2009. Wissner began their career with an internship in the Internal Sales Department at Sodicam Vertriebs GmbH, a subsidiary of Renault, from November 2007 to August 2008.

Roman Wissner began their education at The University of Bonn in 2001 and completed their studies in 2007, earning a Magister degree in Media Studies, North American Studies, and Slavistics. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from VMEdu Inc. in October 2019. Roman also completed several online courses on topics such as marketing, finance, organizational behavior, accounting, project budgeting and scheduling, project initiation and planning, and project risk management from platforms like Coursera in 2017.
