Martina Gjurekovic has extensive work experience in various roles. Martina began their career as an Administrative work/Customer Service provider at Nord Pirineus in 2013. After that, they worked as a Legal Translator at Translating at the Trial in Andorra for a year. In 2016, Martina worked at Calboquer/Asmedit as a Personal Assistant/Simultaneous Translation. Following that, they joined Accelerate Diagnostics as a Customer Events/Office Manager/Travel Agent/Personal Assistant/Administration, where they organized congresses, managed customer events, handled travel arrangements, and managed office operations. In 2017, Martina worked as a Technical Translator at HP and McLaren Racing. Later, they served as an HR Administrator at Zopa, where they handled onboarding, employee relations, risk prevention coordination, and benefit administration. Martina also worked as an Administrative Specialist/Office Manager at Preply in 2020. Martina then transitioned to the role of an HR Operations Specialist at Preply in 2021. Martina Gjurekovic has a diverse education history, spanning different fields of study and institutions. Their education journey started in 1989 when they attended V gimnazija/ High School, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 1995, they enrolled at the Faculty of Economics Zagreb, completing a Degree in Economics, which was updated to the EU/Bologna system in 2018.
In 2003, Martina obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate from Trinity College, Dublin. Additionally, in 2009, they completed a Non-Official Master in Marketing and Publicity at ITEAP. Martina also participated in a Marketing course at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros in 2007.
Their educational pursuits continued in 2011 when they pursued a C level certification in the Catalan language at Consorci per a la normalització lingüística. Martina also completed Emotional Intelligence Course 1 & 2 at Adams in the same year.
In 2019, Martina received the Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England.
Martina's most recent educational achievements include completing an Official Master's Degree in Human Resources Direction and Management from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya between 2019 and 2021.
