Ryan Hawkins

Ryan Hawkins is an experienced Art Director currently leading the Game Development Division at Room 8 Group since December 2024, overseeing the Game Production Art Departments and managing various aspects such as project roadmaps, budget planning, and art direction. Previously, Ryan held the position of Head of Art Department at Darewise Entertainment from September 2023 to May 2025, where responsibilities included art team management and Unreal Engine support for the project LifeBeyond. As a Studio Consultant at Envar Entertainment, Ryan focused on optimizing routines, aligning long-term vision, and managing investor relations. Prior roles also include Head of Art Department at Smilegate and Starbreeze Studios, contributing to significant projects such as an unannounced open world game using UE5, and popular titles like The Walking Dead and Payday series. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Game and Interactive Media Design from Brown College.
