Aniruddha Neogi

Aniruddha Neogi has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Aniruddha started their career as an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in India from 1994 to 2002. Aniruddha then joined ICDDR,B, a health research organization in Bangladesh, where they served as the Director of Strategy & Internal Oversight from 2010 to 2013 and later as the Director of Finance from 2002 to 2010. After that, they worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at CIMMYT, a research & training organization focused on food security and poverty reduction, from 2014 to 2017. Lastly, they held multiple positions at Room to Read, a global organization promoting literacy and gender equality in education, including Associate Director, Finance and Accounting, Asia in 2017, Director, Field Finance & Accounting from 2017 to 2019, and finally as the Senior Director, Field Finance & Accounting from 2019 onwards.

Aniruddha Neogi has a diverse education history. In 1994, they obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), focusing on Financial and Management Accounting, Taxation, and Costing. In 2013, they earned a Certified Internal Auditor degree from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), specializing in Risk, Governance, and Audit. Additionally, in 2016, they became a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), with a focus on Anti-Fraud Controls and Fraud Examination. In 2013, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Royal Roads University, studying Business Administration and Management. Aniruddha Neogi holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA, USA, completed in 2006, emphasizing Information System Audit and Control. In terms of their earlier education, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree from the University of Calcutta in 1986, focusing on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Aniruddha also obtained a Higher Secondary degree from Mitra Institution (Main) in 1984, with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Additionally, Aniruddha Neogi has obtained the Project DPro Foundation certification from PM4NGOs in 2022. Aniruddha has also earned certifications in Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2013 and Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2016.
