Jitender Bansal

Jitender Bansal has extensive work experience in finance and management. Jitender served as the Director of Finance at Room to Read starting from April 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Sr Manager Finance at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) from February 2013 to March 2016, where they were responsible for budget formulation, financial management, internal control systems, and procurement processes. Before CIMMYT, Jitender was a Dy Manager (Audit) at Air India Limited from February 2000 to February 2013. In this role, they conducted performance audits, managed financial transactions, and ensured compliance with regulations.

Jitender Bansal completed their MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Chartered Accountancy with a specialization in Tax & Audit from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1995 and 1999.
