Nicolas Villemin has been working in the hospitality industry since 2006, starting their career as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. In 2008, they moved to Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts as Director of Sales & Marketing - Pre & Post Opening, where they were responsible for pre-opening sales and marketing activities, including setting the business plan, marketing plan, pricing and corporate strategy. In 2010, they took on a 6-month consultancy assignment as Director of Business Development for Gloria Hotels & Resorts, focused primarily on the commercial development of the hotel, serviced apartments, and residential units. In 2011, they joined Al Habtoor Group as Group Director of Business Development- Habtoor Hospitality, responsible for setting and implementing the sales and marketing strategies. In 2014, they moved to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as Complex Director of Sales & Marketing, leading the commercial development activities across MEA with multiple projects running simultaneously. In 2016, they became Director of Sales & Marketing - Pre & Post Opening at Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Dubai / Five Palm Jumeirah Dubai, acting as a catalyst for sustained business performance and ensuring that business strategies and plans are translated into concrete actions and tangible results. In 2017, they took on a Consultant role and in 2021, they became a Hospitality Commercial Consultant. Currently, Nicolas Villemin is Director - EAME at ROOMDEX, leading strategic development across EAME.
Nicolas Villemin studied Hotel Management at the Hotel Institute Montreux from 1993 to 1996. Nicolas then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Maryland between 1996 and 1998.
