Lukasz Szczygiel

Frontend Developer at Roomless

Lukasz Szczygiel has worked in a variety of positions since 2016. Lukasz began their career as a Junior Web Developer at bPolNet, where they implemented webpages features based on provided templates/mock-ups. In 2018, they were a Software Developer at Hyperborea s.r.l., where they had a full stack experience on product development within a small Agile Scrum organized team. Lukasz also completed a curricular internship at IIT-CNR, where they researched on state of art blockchain technologies related to the possible contexts of use. In 2021, they were a Research Associate at Università di Pisa, where they designed user interfaces for a European project in the context of Higher Education response to COVID-19 educational challenges. Lukasz also completed an internship at Università di Pisa as a Frontend Developer, where they developed a web application for video (multimedia) content editing. Lukasz is currently a Frontend Developer at Roomless.

Lukasz Szczygiel has a diverse educational background. Lukasz started their education in 2009, when they attended ITC Pacinotti, an administrative commercial and programmers technical college. In 2014, they enrolled in the Università di Pisa and studied Computer Science. Lukasz then continued their studies at the Università di Pisa, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Digital Humanities in 2018. From 2017 to 2018, they also attended the University of Reading, studying Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. In 2020, Lukasz enrolled in a Master's degree program in Digital Humanities at King's College London, which they are still pursuing. Lukasz is also currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Digital Humanities at the Università di Pisa, which they are expected to complete in 2021. Additionally, Lukasz has obtained two certifications from LinkedIn and Coursera Course Certificates.
