Joel Watt is a Scottish entrepreneur and business executive. Joel is currently the co-founder of Rooser, a tech startup based in Edinburgh.
Joel started their career as an accountant with the international firm PwC. Joel then transitioned into the oil and gas industry, working for Bibby Offshore, before eventually moving into fisheries with Jack Taylor Ltd.
At Jack Taylor, Joel served as director, overseeing the company's fish factory in Fraserburgh. Joel was responsible for sourcing and selecting the best quality fish from Peterhead fish market, and exporting it to customers across Europe.
In 2013, Joel and Mark Stephen founded Rooser, a tech startup that helps businesses with their social media marketing. The company has seen great success in recent years, and has been featured in several publications, including The Scotsman and TechCrunch.
Joel Watt has a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Robert Gordon University. Joel also attended Elevator, Fraserburgh, and Fraserburgh.
