Saul Rivera Alvizo

Saul Rivera Alvizo has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technology leadership. Saul is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at ROOSTER® Asset Tracking since October 2022. Previously, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at DG ROOM from December 2021 onwards and also held the same position at MedStone Group from August 2022 to November 2022.

Before these roles, Saul worked at Outland Group as the Director of Software Engineering. Their responsibilities included building cloud infrastructure, architecting technology stacks, and working with .NET and Golang environments. Saul utilized Docker and Kubernetes for architecting microservices in AWS, Azure, and GCP clouds. Saul was associated with Outland Group from December 2020 to August 2022.

Prior to Outland Group, Saul worked at Blue People MX in various roles. Saul served as a Software Architect Manager from July 2020 to December 2020, where they led the technological direction for customers and products. Saul also worked as a Solutions Architect from November 2018 to July 2020, creating mobile and web applications using technologies like AWS Amplify, Swift, and GraphQL API communication.

Additionally, Saul worked as a Software Engineer for ION Autofinanciamiento in Monterrey, where they developed a web application for realty management. Saul utilized Angular 2, Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, and Postgres for this project. Saul also worked on Dental Pilot, a web application managing resources and appointments for patients and doctors. Saul's work experience at ION Autofinanciamiento and Dental Pilot spanned from September 2017 to November 2018.

Saul Rivera Alvizo completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics at Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2012 to 2017. In 2016, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Tampere University of Technology. Additionally, in the same year, they enrolled at the University of Twente to study Engineering, although no degree completion is indicated. In terms of certifications, Saul obtained qualifications in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, and jQuery from the Cambridge Certification Authority in June 2017. Saul also achieved the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2019.
