Skot Ivan Walker has over 20 years of professional experience. Skot Ivan began their career as a Fiberoptic Lighting Technician at Fiberstars Inc in 2001. In 2004, they became a Sculptor and Project Manager at CREO Industrial Arts, and also began working as a Museum Mount Maker at the Museum of Pop Culture. In 2009, they took on the role of Lead Designer at VKK Signmakers where they co-authored rebranding guidelines for eBay-PayPal merger and designed and oversaw fabrication and installation of Sister Cities Display in Palo Alto, CA. In 2014, they became Lead Designer at The Signworks, where they mentored junior designer for 3+ years, created scaled technical drawings, permit packages, logo designs, and production files for signage, branding, and graphic displays. In 2020, they began working as a Frontend Developer at Rooster Grin Media and also took on several roles at General Assembly San Francisco such as Software Engineering Immersive, Antigua - Multi-Stage Puzzle Game, Bigfoot Sighters - UX/UI 24 Hour Colabathon, Horizon - Optimistic Social Calendar App, Kaleidos - Database Storage App for Personal Collections, and Whip-It! - DEVO inspired Browser Game.

Skot Ivan Walker attended The Art Institutes from 1998 to 2000, where they earned an Associate of Applied Arts in Industrial Design Technology. In 2020, they attended General Assembly for a Software Engineering Immersive program.
