Rob Carlson is the current director at RoosterBio. Prior to this, they were a member of the Scientific Working Group on the Implication of Synthetic Biology For Smallpox Control at the World Health Organization from March 2015 to April 2015. Rob was also previously a member of the Board of Directors at HiveBio Community Lab from June 2013 to September 2016, where they developed new microfabrication methods and microfluidic devices. Inventor of Microscale Plasma Activated Templating (MicroPLAT), which enables bench-top, room temperature assembly of integrated MEMS devices. Carlson was also a member of the National Academy of Sciences from June 2013 to January 2017.
