Gideon Mumo

Gideon Mumo is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit administration and operations across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Regional Credit Administration Manager for Africa & Asia at Root Capital since October 2021, Gideon is responsible for conducting final reviews of complex loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Previous roles include Manager of Credit Operations at Mayfair CIB Bank Ltd and Senior Manager of Credit Administration at Credit Bank PLC, among others. Gideon began a career in credit documentation at NCBA Group, where positions included Credit Documentation Officer and Securities Officer. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Management with a focus on Finance and Banking from Moi University, completed in 2008.
