Nathan Hulley

Nathan Hulley currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Root Capital since June 2025, while also fulfilling the role of Adjunct Professor at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since October 2019. Previous positions include Consultant at CGAP, Chief of Party for the Feed the Future Market Systems and Partnerships Activity at DAI, and Private Sector Advisor for the Central Africa Regional Program for the Environment at USAID. Nathan's extensive career also features leadership roles at Adam Smith International, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and HOPE International, where responsibilities included managing operations and implementing systems for microfinance initiatives. Nathan holds an MBA from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Richmond.
