Scott Amero is the former Vice Chairman and Global Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income of BlackRock. His career at BlackRock spanned from 1990 to 2010. During this time, BlackRock grew from a boutique investment firm with 20 employees to the largest investment management firm in the world. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University. He serves on the boards of Rare, Adventure Scientists, the Harbor Funds, The Nature Conservancy Massachusetts chapter, and the Harvard Kennedy School’s Mossavar-Rohmani Center for Business and Government.
