Prior to that, they pursued an MBA/MA Dual Degree in Nonprofit Management and Conflict Resolution, with a focus on Children, Youth, and Family Services, from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, from 2014 to 2016. Jamie C. also engaged in an exchange study program at Uppsala University in 2016, where they focused on Peace and Research Conflict Studies.
In their undergraduate years, they attended Dickinson College from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English. During this time, they also pursued minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. In 2009, they participated in a study abroad program at the Universidad de Málaga, focusing on Spanish Language and Literature. Additionally, in 2008, they went on a study abroad program at the Center University for Nationalities, conducting field research on "Peace, Politics, and the Power of the Olympic Games."
Jamie additionally holds various certifications. In 2017, they obtained a Lifeguard certification from the American Red Cross. Jamie C. also holds a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2014. Furthermore, they have a certification in Grant Writing, which was obtained from the University of Southern Maine.
