Annie Giupponi Lmsw, Pmh-C

Annie Giupponi, LMSW, PMH-C, has a diverse background in counseling and therapy. Annie founded and worked as a therapist at Rooted Counseling since 2017. Prior to that, they served as a counselor at Small Talk Children's Advocacy Center from 2016 to 2017. Annie also worked at Insight Behavioral Health Centers as a Clinical Manager from 2016 to 2016 and as a Primary Therapist from 2015 to 2016. In addition, they gained experience as a Family Therapist at The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt from 2014 to 2015.

Annie Giupponi, LMSW, PMH-C, completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology at Hillsdale College from 2009 to 2012. Annie then pursued their Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) at the University of South Carolina from 2012 to 2014. Their additional certifications include the LMSW obtained in March 2017, Licensed Graduate Social Worker from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners obtained in July 2014, and Licensed Master Social Worker from the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners obtained in June 2014. Annie also obtained certifications in Using TF-CBT with Childhood Traumatic Grief from the Medical University of South Carolina in December 2013, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention from Carolina Children's Home in August 2013, Suicide Prevention Gatekeeping Program from the University of South Carolina in April 2013, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in January 2013.
