Michael Rosenstock

Michael Rosenstock has extensive work experience in the legal field. Michael is currently serving as the Senior Director of Legal Affairs at Roots since March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP from July 2016 to March 2021. Michael also served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice from August 2015 to June 2016. Before that, they worked as a Summer Law Student at the Ontario Securities Commission in 2014. Michael gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, working with Professors Anita Anand and Michael Trebilcock from September 2013 to July 2014, and with Professor Michael Trebilcock from November 2012 to June 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked with Ontario's New Democrats as a Researcher and Director of Operations from March 2008 to June 2012. Michael started their career as a Senior Economist at the Ontario Public Service from August 2005 to March 2008.

Michael Rosenstock earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from The University of Winnipeg from 2000 to 2004. Michael then pursued a Master of Arts in Economics at Queen's University from 2004 to 2005. Later, from 2012 to 2015, they attended the University of Toronto, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Faculty of Law.
