Brian Frankum has a diverse and extensive work experience in various engineering and management roles. Brian started their career as a Lathe Operator at Serdi Corp in 1999. Brian then worked as a Manufacturing Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Caterpillar Inc. from 2001 to 2005. Brian then joined Elan Motorsports Technologies, where they worked as a Design Engineering Intern and later as a Design Engineer, leading projects and collaborating with outside suppliers. In 2008, they joined Diversified Metal Fabricators, INC as a Design Engineer, eventually becoming the Chief Design Engineer/Engineering Manager. Brian oversaw the design of new products, managed a team of engineers, improved the order entry process, and contributed to the design of a patented product. In 2021, they joined ANDRITZ as a Product Manager, responsible for the development of log handling cranes. Currently, Brian is the Director of Operations at Roper Pump Company, a role they assumed in 2022.

From 2000 to 2005, Brian Frankum attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
