Chelsea Childs

Chelsea Childs is a Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP, where since January 2019, Chelsea has advised registered fund sponsors on various aspects of their businesses, including private funds and retail alternatives. Prior experience includes roles as Counsel and Associate in Asset Management, representing clients in the investment management industry on regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters at Ropes & Gray LLP, and as an Associate in Financial Services & Investment Management at Dechert LLP. Chelsea also has a history of internships focused on business and legal analysis, including roles with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Academically, Chelsea earned a JD from Boston University School of Law and a BBA with a focus on Economics, Finance, and Spanish from Grand Valley State University, complemented by a study abroad program at the University of Deusto.
