David McIntosh

David McIntosh is a Partner at Ropes & Gray, with a tenure beginning in October 1997, where notable achievements include representing Genzyme Corporation in a significant collaboration agreement and a $700 million equity investment in Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as well as managing the disposition of Genzyme’s genetics testing and diagnostics business units. McIntosh also served as Co-Chair of the IP Section and Co-Chair of the IP Law Committee at the Boston Bar Association from 2005 to 2009. McIntosh holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boston College Law School, obtained in 1997, and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, earned in 1993. Education was preceded by attendance at Winchester High School, where graduation occurred in 1989.
