Franziska Hertel

Franziska Hertel serves as a Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP since October 2014 and has also held the position of Associate within the firm. In addition to legal practice, Franziska co-founded and has been the CEO of the Global Opportunities Alliance (GOAL) since November 2017, which is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting international students in the U.S. through various challenges related to their status. Prior to these roles, Franziska interned at the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York from January 2014 to May 2014. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School (2011-2014) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from Dartmouth College (2007-2011).
