John Newton

John Newton is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, specializing in Private Equity and M&A. As a Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP since January 2013, John has built a strong practice in these areas. Prior to this, John served as an Associate at Weil Gotshal and Manges from August 2005 to December 2012, and worked as an Assistant at Macfarlanes from March 2001 to June 2005, gaining valuable expertise in M&A and private equity transactions. John holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from King's College London, earned between 1996 and 1999.
