Matthew Czyzyk

Matthew Czyzyk is a Partner at Ropes & Gray LLP, where experience spans complex, cross-border restructuring and distressed mandates since June 2020. Previously, as a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis from February 2018 to June 2020, Matthew represented both debtors and creditors in significant transactions, including the restructuring of Noble Group. Earlier roles include Senior Associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, focusing on debt financings and distressed situations, and Associate positions at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Linklaters LLP, specializing in international financing and restructuring, with additional experience at RBS Global Banking & Markets and Man Investments. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Oxford and has foundational education from Eton College and Nottingham Law School.
