Sean Seelinger

Sean Seelinger has a diverse legal background with extensive experience at Ropes & Gray LLP, where Sean has held various positions since September 2011, including Partner, Counsel, and Associate. Additionally, Sean was seconded as Compliance Counsel at Hess Corporation from October 2013 to June 2014. Prior to this, Sean served as an Assistant Attorney General for the Attorney General of New York from September 2010 to September 2011, following a fellowship sponsored by Ropes & Gray. Sean's early legal experience includes a role as a Summer Associate at Ropes & Gray and a Summer Clerk position in Alcoa's Legal Department. Sean holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Political Science, and Financial Economics from Vanderbilt University.
