Jean-François Valemberg

Jean-François Valemberg has a range of work experience in various companies and roles. Jean-François most recently worked at Roquette, starting in 2016 as the Global Head of Process Safety. Jean-François later became the EMEA Head of Regulatory Affairs and then the Global Head of Regulatory Affairs Excellence & Industry. Before their time at Roquette, Valemberg worked at Total as the EMEA Head of Regulatory Affairs. Prior to that, they were at Croda as the QHSE/Process Safety Manager, and at MINAKEM, where they held multiple positions including HSE/Process Safety Manager + Regulatory Affairs and R&D Analytical Manager deputy. Jean-François also completed a postgraduate course at Laboratoire de Police Scientifique.

Jean-François Valemberg completed a DESS in Environmental & Industrial Toxicology from Faculté de Pharmacie Lille II in 1998-1999. Jean-François also obtained a DU in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Faculté de Pharmacie de Lille II in 1996-1997 and a Maîtrise in Molecular Biochemistry from Université des Sciences et Technologie de Lille I in 1995-1996. In addition, Jean-François Valemberg has obtained several certifications in operational excellence (Lean/6 Sigma), radioprotection, fire protection/refining chemistry, and reactive calorimetry.
