Jorge Ventureira

Jorge Ventureira (Ph.D.) is an experienced R&D and Process Engineer specializing in protein science, currently working at Roquette since January 2017. Prior to this role, Jorge held positions as a Project Manager at SAS IMPROVE, focusing on the research and development of vegetable proteins for diverse applications, and completed postdoctoral research at North Carolina State University and the French National Institute of Agricultural Research, where inquiries centered on interfacial properties and the enhancement of nutritional aspects of casein micelles. A PhD completion at CIDCA-CONICET-Universidad Nacional de La Plata involved significant research on the interfacial properties of plant proteins, and Jorge contributed as an assistant professor teaching courses related to the physical chemistry of food. Educational qualifications include a Licenciatura en Ciencia y Tecnología de Alimentos from Universidad Nacional del Comahue and a Doctor's Degree in Protein Science from Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
