Walt Segl has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Walt began their career at Beckman as a District Manager, where they gained experience in instrument systems for research laboratories. Walt then moved on to Instron as a Director of Sales, where they contributed to the evaluation of mechanical and physical properties of materials and structures. After that, Walt worked at IRORI as the Director of Sales, focusing on sales and marketing strategies. Walt later joined Discovery Partners as the Executive Director of Business Development, leading the company in CRO drug discovery collaborations. Walt then transitioned to Fluorous Technologies, where they served as the Vice President of Business Development, developing products for the life science market. Walt continued their career at IDBS as the Director of North American Operations, providing advanced software solutions for research processes. Following this, Walt joined ArtusLabs, Inc. as the VP of Sales & Business Development, overseeing sales and business growth. Walt then moved to Leica Biosystems, where they served as the Vice President of Life Science Sales, advancing cancer diagnostics solutions. Walt's next role was at Bina Technologies, part of Roche Sequencing, as the Vice President of Sales, contributing to the development of genomic management solutions. Currently, they are the Chief Revenue Officer at OnRamp BioInformatics, where they lead revenue generation and promotes the use of genomics analysis platforms for researchers.

Walt Segl attended Albright College from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
