Simon Jones

Simon Jones currently serves as Chief Risk Officer for Europe at Roscommon Analytics LLC, a role held since October 2022. Previously, Simon accumulated extensive experience in market risk management at Citi, where responsibilities included oversight of the Global Commodities business from September 2012 to October 2022, and at Deutsche Bank as VP Commodity Market Risk Manager from September 2009 to September 2012, focusing on European and global commodities. Earlier experience at EDF (UK) spanned various roles, including Senior Optimisation Analyst and Senior Analyst in Risk Indicator Development, from September 2004 to August 2009, where Simon played a key role in maximizing the value of thermal power stations and developing risk indicators for energy markets. Simon holds a BSc in Mathematics with Economics from the University of York, earned in 2004.
