Dan Browder

Dan Browder is an experienced project manager and technical director with a career spanning over three decades in theatre technology and production management. Currently serving as a project manager at Rose Brand since December 2016, Dan oversees fabrication, installation, rigging, and manufacturing projects within the Technical Services Department, currently on furlough due to COVID-19's impact on the live events industry. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Illinois State University School of Theatre and Dance, where Dan managed over 175 productions, taught theatre technology courses, and mentored student technicians. Dan also held roles at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, coordinating technical aspects for multiple productions, and co-owned Lee-Pierce Design, providing theatrical consulting and design services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Technology from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Portland State University.
